Minnie Pearl

Meet Minnie Pearl, a resilient and happy Old English Bulldog who arrived at the shelter in rough shape. Once thought to be older and possibly on hospice care, she has proven to be a survivor and may be younger than initially believed! Now thriving in her foster home, Minnie, affectionately known as "The Minster," is full of energy, loves her toys, and enjoys zooming around. She's a sweet girl with a stubborn yet affectionate nature, and she's looking for a structured home with adopters who understand and appreciate the bulldog breed.

Ideal Home

Minnie needs a home with bulldog-savvy adopters. Due to her enthusiastic nature and lack of personal space awareness, she may not be ideal for small children or frail individuals. She also does best with dogs her own size, as she can be a bit of a bulldozer and very small dogs may not be the best fit.

Ongoing Health

Minnie was treated for heartworm and infections upon arrival and has since made a full recovery. She is now healthy and ready to find her forever family.

Training & Support

Minnie is still learning her manners and is mostly housebroken. When left alone, she will need a crate or access to a pee pad. Her adopters should be prepared for a dog with a strong personality and a lot of love to give!
