A little about them

Meet Layla Ray, a sweet and affectionate 40-pound girl with beautiful blue eyes. She loves attention, cuddling, and staying close to her people. After raising her six puppies, Layla is ready to be spoiled as part of a loving family.

Layla is friendly with dogs, cats, children, and new people. She has accompanied her foster to work and enjoys meeting coworkers and receiving extra attention.

Ongoing Health

Layla is up to date on vaccines. She is heartworm positive and has started treatment, which will be fully covered by Take Paws Rescue. She is scheduled to be spayed on October 22.

Training & Support

Layla comes when called, knows how to sit, and responds well to her name. She is still working on house training, kennel comfort, and learning that alone time is okay. A secure kennel, consistency, and a predictable routine will help her continue progressing.
