Meet Brody – a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet affection. Brody is a lovable goofball who enjoys both outdoor adventures and lazy days cuddling on the couch. He doesn't mind dressing up for holidays and loves to be part of the fun with his people. He has made great progress in his foster home and is eager to please, thriving with structure and consistency. Brody would be a wonderful companion for someone with experience with intelligent, loyal breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls, who can provide him with daily walks, light adventures, and mentally stimulating activities.
Ideal Home
Brody would love a home with a secure backyard for zoomies and off-leash play. He has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and is also happy to be your one-and-only pup. Because of his playful energy and size, a home with older, dog-savvy children (8-10+) is recommended. Brody is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Brody is a healthy boy with no specific health conditions mentioned.
Training & Support
Brody is housebroken and crate trained, doing wonderfully when left unsupervised in his crate. He walks calmly on a loose leash and enjoys his strolls. While he has made great progress with obedience, he may still get a little excited around assertive male dogs. Calm guidance and continued positive experiences will help him adapt and thrive. He loves his plush toys, so be prepared for some enthusiastic chomping!
