Charlotte

Charlotte is an amazing dog with a very loving personality. She is blind due to injuries sustained before her rescue. She was found as a stray with multiple wounds and an old, improperly healed leg fracture. Charlotte was evaluated by a veterinary specialist, and no surgical correction was recommended for her leg. She walks and runs well despite a slight limp and a mild outward turn of one rear foot caused by the old injury. Once familiar with her environment, she navigates extremely well despite her blindness! Charlotte occasionally bumps into things when excited, but otherwise, she functions very normally and is very affectionate and people-oriented. She truly does not let her blindness limit her quality of life and is very adaptable.

Ideal Home

Charlotte is excellent with children and gets along well with other dogs. She enjoys cuddling and sleeping close to her people. Due to her food reactivity, she should be fed separately from other pets.
