Neiko

Neiko is a regal Akita with a soul full of sunshine, a playful senior who embodies wisdom and youthful energy. While the circumstances of his owner surrender are unknown, Neiko's spirit remains unbowed. He adores car rides with the windows down and wouldn't dream of missing out on a scoop of dog-friendly ice cream. Neiko is a champ on walks and would happily explore new trails with you. He bonds quickly with his human companions and deserves a home of his own after waiting for over five years. Neiko holds his toys in his mouth and dances around on his back legs when he's happy, which is all the time! He has a gorgeous brindle coat that makes him look handsome and unique, and he's the biggest, sweetest fluffball you will ever meet!

Ideal Home

Neiko would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. He is not a fan of other furry friends.

Ongoing Health

Neiko is a senior boy, weighing 100lbs and approximately 11-12 years old. He receives yearly bloodwork checks which have all been fantastic, and he recently completed a much-needed dental cleaning.
