Thomas is a 68-pound Pittie and retriever mix with a heart of gold and a goofy charm that's sure to win you over. At around 3 years old, he's the perfect blend of playful retriever and loving Pittie, making him a fantastic companion for fetch, cuddles, and everything in between. He's a people-lover through and through, craving human connection and showering his favorite humans with affection and gentle kisses. Thomas is also great with kids, having gotten along famously with children between the ages of 3 and 13. He has excellent house manners, enjoys couch time, and is a reliable housemate.
Ideal Home
Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can enjoy his love for the outdoors and his energetic zoomies. He'd also love a semi-active family that enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring, as he's a great adventure buddy. As he's a little too interested in cats, a feline-free home is recommended.
Ongoing Health
Thomas is a healthy boy and comes fully vetted, including all necessary vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchipping.
Training & Support
Thomas is a super smart and treat-motivated learner, already knowing commands like "sit," "down," "leave it," and "fetch." He's gentle when taking treats, making training a joy. He is fully crate-trained but would love to sleep in bed with you if given the chance. He also enjoys chewing on enrichment toys like Kongs when in his crate. Thomas is gentle lead trained, and a gentle lead will be included with his adoption.
