Meet Faith and Maverick, two resilient souls who have already overcome so much and are now ready to share their unwavering love with forever families. These incredible German Shepherds were found surviving in the harsh conditions of the High Desert, fiercely protecting their eight puppies in an abandoned building. Despite their challenging beginnings, they have emerged strong and are eagerly awaiting the chance to experience the safety, security, and affection they so richly deserve.
Faith is approximately 6 years old and boasts a gentle, affectionate nature that is sure to capture your heart. She has a loving disposition and is eager to build a deep, lasting bond with her new family. While she's accustomed to fending for herself, she's adjusted remarkably well to kennel life and truly cherishes human companionship.
Maverick is around 2.5 years old and, though initially reserved, he quickly blossoms once he feels a sense of trust. He has made incredible progress after showing signs of past abuse, a testament to the patience and kindness he's received. Maverick is intelligent and eager to learn, responding well to training and showing a genuine desire to please, even without formal obedience experience.
Faith and Maverick share a strong bond, having relied on each other for survival. While they would love to stay together, we believe they may thrive best in separate homes with experienced German Shepherd adopters who can provide the individual attention and training each deserves.
Ideal Home
Both Faith and Maverick would thrive in a home with experienced German Shepherd adopters who are committed to continuing their training and socialization. A patient, structured environment will be key to helping them build confidence and blossom into the loyal companions they are meant to be.
Ongoing Health
Both dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are fully vaccinated.
Training & Support
Neither dog has had formal obedience training. Their recall is still a work in progress, but Maverick is showing great promise. They are leash-trained and take treats gently.
