Howie

This happy, gentle Lab-Ridgeback-Pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 6 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape, with major skin issues and hair loss due to neglect. He looks so much better now and is continuing to do well on a good salmon food and supplements. Howie is appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. He's a big snuggler and would love to share your bed! He enjoys going for walks and other outings. Howie weighs about 55-60 lbs.

Ideal Home

Howie would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female dog. He's been waiting a long time for his own home.

Ongoing Health

Howie had major skin issues and hair loss due to neglect. He is now on good salmon food and supplements, and is continuing to do well.

Training & Support

Howie is a big snuggler and wants to share your bed. He loves going for walks and other outings.
