Sable is new to our shelter, and we're still getting to know her! This beautiful pup has mesmerizing eyes that are sure to capture your heart. We'll update her profile with more information as soon as we can!

We're still learning about Sable's preferences, so we're looking for a home that can help her settle in and discover her favorite things.

Ongoing Health

All dogs at our shelter are spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption. Sable is no exception and will be up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sable is still getting acquainted with shelter life, so we'll provide you with all the information we have on her temperament and any training needs as we learn more.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers, should be present to meet Sable.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet Sable. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s) is required. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after allowing Sable time to decompress.

Transportation

Sable is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control, 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Visitors are welcome from 12pm to 7pm daily. If you plan to adopt on the same day, please arrive before 5:30pm. If you arrive after 5:30pm, you can still view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
