Lincoln

Lincoln is a handsome 2-year-old boy who weighs 55 lbs. He came to us found running loose and in bad shape. He was very thin and had an 18-inch choke collar wrapped tightly around his neck and under his armpit. Thankfully, he is now free from that ordeal and on a regular meal schedule, feeling great and ready for his forever home! Lincoln is a smart cookie who knows "sit," "down," and "paw," and he's eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved. He's food-motivated, playful, and loves to chase balls.

Ideal Home

Lincoln would thrive with an active family who enjoys exploring and playing. He would do best as the only pet in the home, but he does enjoy the company of other friendly dogs for playdates or doggy daycare.

Ongoing Health

Lincoln was microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. He is up-to-date on flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Lincoln appears to be house-trained and did well in a crate. While he's learning to trust again, he was initially apprehensive about leashes and collars. With positive reinforcement and patience, he's quickly becoming more confident and loves to give kisses!
