Kenai

Meet Kenai! This sweet and gentle girl is a mixed breed, estimated to be between 2-4 years old. Kenai has overcome a truly harrowing ordeal. She was found as a stray dragging a chain and trap, which unfortunately resulted in the amputation of her front leg. Despite everything she's been through, Kenai is a friendly, loving, and smart girl who is adapting beautifully to life as a tripod. She also gets along well with other dogs. Kenai is so deserving of a happy ending, and we can't wait to help her find it.

Ongoing Health

Kenai's front leg was amputated due to extensive injuries. She is recovering and learning to navigate the world as a tripod. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will need continued training and socialization to help her thrive.

Transporation

Kenai is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet.
