Hi, I'm Jude, a 20 lb masterpiece of mystery! I'm about 1 year old, and my breed is a fun puzzle! My mom was a Border Terrier/Dachshund mix, but my dad's identity is a thrilling blend of possibilities – maybe an English Coonhound, a Labrador, or even a spirited Cattle Dog! I'm a truly one-of-a-kind "designer mystery" in a perfectly portable package.

I might be a little shy when we first meet; I'm a "slow-burn" friend who likes to take a moment to find my bravery. But once I know you're one of the good ones, I'm all in! I'm also kid-friendly and incredibly gentle. I just need a family who understands that the best things in life are worth a little patience. Not long ago, I was in a loud, scary rural shelter in Southeast Louisiana, which was a lot for a sensitive soul like me. Since my rescue "freedom ride," I've been learning that the world can be a beautiful, safe place. I'm dreaming of a forever home filled with belly rubs, quiet mornings, and a soft spot to land.
