Meet Coco Mia Chihuahuas. Welcome to Coco Mia Chihuahuas, my passion, my heart’s work, and the place where my lovingly raised AKC Chihuahuas begin their journey into the arms of families like yours. My name is Ashley, and what began as a childhood love for dogs grew into something much deeper over time. My aunt, a breeder of Whippets, first introduced me to the world of dog shows in the 80s. From a young age, I was surrounded by different breeds and learned how much care, structure, and intention goes into raising dogs well. I still remember once getting lost at a dog show and being found sitting in a pen of puppies, completely content, just enjoying being with them. Moments like that stayed with me. In 2004, she brought home a tiny Chihuahua named Pinto, and watching the bond they shared sparked something magical in me. The way she included him so naturally in her daily life showed me just how special these little dogs truly are. In 2007, I brought home my first AKC Chihuahua, Mia. She was more than a dog. She was my shadow, my comfort, my heart. For 14 beautiful years, Mia was by my side, teaching me how deep the connection between a person and a Chihuahua can be. Her spirit lives on in every puppy I raise. Since then, I’ve fostered, adopted, and responsibly bred Chihuahuas with one goal in mind: to raise emotionally balanced, joyful companions who are ready to be loved. Each puppy is raised in my home, not in a kennel, surrounded by affection, structure, and gentle discipline. A simple change in my tone or the sound of a can of pennies is often all it takes. These dogs are intelligent, sensitive, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a tiny dog with a big heart, I truly believe you’re in the right place.
