Meet Mochi and her best friend, Cricket! These two resilient girls have overcome so much and are finally ready for a forever home—together. They are sweet, gentle, and full of love, and they can't wait to share it with their new family.
Mochi is a 7+ year old, 14 lb Wire-Haired Terrier Mix with a permanently grumpy little face that hides a calm, affectionate cuddle bug. She's the confident half of this duo and quietly watches over Cricket. Mochi had several masses removed—all benign—and while she may develop more in the future, she is currently happy and feeling great. She also has a heart murmur and although on medication is asymptomatic. Mochi loves Frozen Kongs and is great on leash.
Cricket is an 8+ year old, 13 lb Chihuahua and a gentle, sensitive soul. She arrived with a large hernia and a damaged eye—both now successfully treated. Today, she's finally living pain-free. She's shy at first, but once she trusts you, she melts into soft affection and belly rubs. Cricket leans on Mochi for confidence, and their bond is truly something special, which is why we are adopting them as a bonded pair. Cricket loves bully sticks and prefers shredded chicken mixed with kibble.
Ideal Home
These girls are looking for a calm, stable home where they can continue to thrive together. A fenced yard is required as Cricket is still building leash confidence. They would ideally do best in a home without small children and would prefer calm, respectful dog friends. They are about 90% housebroken (Mochi seems to be slower to catch on) and are both crate trained.

Training & Support
Mochi is still working on her house-training, and Cricket is building leash confidence. They both benefit greatly from each other's presence and support.
