Meet Bubba! He's an 8-year-old pocket pittie with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give. Bubba is the definition of a soul dog, and the bond you'll build with him is truly special. His favorite place in the world is curled up on your chest, snuggled in close for hours. He's calm, low-energy, and perfectly content relaxing at home with his people. Bubba is easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when he's soaking up love (and sunshine!). He loves to do an occasional zoomie in the backyard, about once a month. Don't let his chill personality fool you – Bubba gets so excited when the leash comes out! He walks beautifully and does great passing other dogs on walks. Bubba is a professional-level snuggler who loves burrowing under blankets and laying his whole body on your chest, making him feel like a weighted blanket. He also loves sunbathing and rides well in the car. He never misses a meal and gives kisses very sparingly, which makes them extra special. Bubba has been tested with cats and dogs at the rescue and passed! He is a bit timid/unsure with dominant dogs, but we think he would do great living with a cat! We are happy to test Bubba in additional situations to help ensure the perfect fit for both him and his future family.

Training & Support
Bubba does not jump. He is crate trained, potty trained, and knows how to walk on a leash.

- A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.

Transportation
Bubba is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time, see photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters through a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
