Melody - Beautiful Poet

Melody is a truly special girl who found a unique way to express her desire for a loving home. We discovered her writing a poem one night, detailing her hopes for a family to share her life with. Her poem beautifully describes her journey from a difficult past to a hopeful future.

Melody is a gorgeous, golden-toned German Shepherd, approximately 5 to 6 years old and weighing around 60lbs. She's thoughtful, observant, and intelligent. She adores exploring the world on walks and is excellent on a leash. Melody leans in for affection and is very appreciative of love. While she enjoys a good game of fetch, she's equally happy to spend her evenings cuddling. She gets along well with horses, cows, goats, and donkeys, but she is dog selective. She's better with small dogs than large ones and would likely thrive best as the only dog in her home.

Ideal Home

Melody would love a home where she can explore and be by your side. While she enjoys playtime, she also cherishes quiet evenings filled with cuddles. She is best suited for a home without other dogs, or with a very small, mellow dog.
