Pinky is a sweet, loving 8-month-old Shepherd mix, weighing 35 pounds, who is looking for an active family to call her own. She was rescued from a high-intake shelter in Houston, giving her a second chance at the happy life every puppy deserves. Pinky was originally adopted to be a companion for her foster's mother, but it became clear that, like many young puppies, she had too much energy and is still learning her leash manners. She is friendly, loves people, enjoys getting attention, and is always excited to head out for a walk or a new adventure. Pinky gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a playful canine companion to help burn off some puppy energy. This smart girl is house and crate trained, sits by the door to let you know she needs to go outside, and knows "sit"! If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion to join you on hikes, neighborhood walks, road trips, or backyard playtime, Pinky may be the perfect match! She will see a vet for a final inspection before she travels to her new home!
