Skylar

Meet Skylar, a sweet and affectionate adult female Pit Bull Terrier mix who is full of love and personality! From her adorable morning zoomies to her signature post-nap stretch, Skylar is the ultimate snuggle companion, capable of curling up so tiny you’ll wonder how she even fit next to you on the couch! She has come a long way and is no longer fearful of loud noises like garage doors. Skylar loves the ocean and has proven to be a friendly girl with cats and ignores bunnies in her foster home while they are in their cage. She is also good with other dogs but benefits from slow introductions.

Ideal Home

Skylar would love a home with a yard or space to run, as she enjoys stretching her legs in the mornings. If you’re a fan of sunbathing, you’ll have the perfect lounging partner, as she absolutely loves soaking up the sunshine. Skylar sometimes gives standing "hugs," so she may be best suited for a home with older children rather than toddlers.

Skylar is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Skylar is still learning polite leash behavior and sometimes gets too excited when seeing other pups. She is also working on not pulling, but with patience and training, she’ll continue to improve. She’s got some fun tricks up her sleeve, like catching treats in the air, and has a taste for bananas and dried mango slices.
