Exuma

Exuma is a sweet, calm, and loving 3-year-old, 40 lb lady who has overcome so much. Sadly, her past involved severe neglect and abuse, including an incident where her ear flaps were cut off and she was left to be attacked by other dogs. She arrived with infected ears and numerous puncture wounds. Thankfully, after undergoing TECA surgery, she is now healing and ready to find her forever home. Exuma doesn't ask for much – just a soft place to rest. You'll often find her settling into her favorite spot, resting her head, and keeping her hind end up in the air. She is submissive and gentle with other dogs, adores children, and gets along well with cats.

Exuma would thrive in a home where she can relax and feel safe. She has a gentle nature and does well with kids, cats, and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Exuma has undergone TECA surgery to address her severely infected ears. She is now recovering and doing well.

Training & Support

Exuma is house-trained and is a quiet, gentle soul. She is a submissive and friendly dog who would likely adapt well to most home environments.
