Chuy

Chuy is a fun-loving boy who is ready for his forever home! He is a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd who came to us from the Alamogordo Animal Shelter. We're not sure why, as he is such a wonderful dog! Chuy can be a little barky at the gate when he first meets you, but once he knows you, he's the best boy. He knows "sit" and will happily give you his paw when offered a treat. He seems to have had good care in his previous home, and with his teachable nature, we're sure he'll pick up new things quickly. He also enjoys playing with other dogs. Chuy recently graduated from the PAWS program, where he received obedience training and further socialization. He is now even more ready to find his perfect family to love and care for him.

Ideal Home

Chuy would love a family who can continue his training and socialization. He enjoys playing with other dogs, so a home with a canine friend could be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Chuy is neutered and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm disease.

Training & Support

Chuy has completed obedience training through the PAWS program and is a very teachable dog. He knows "sit" and "paw."

Transporation

Chuy is located at the Animal Rescue League of El Paso in El Paso, TX. We can provide transportation to approved adopters within a reasonable distance.
