Philip

Meet Phillip, a 50-pound Staffy mix with a talent for discus-like toy flinging and a deep love for both playtime and snuggles. He’s a superstar who even aces bath time! Phillip can be a little shy initially, but he’s a big-hearted pup blossoming with confidence. He’s improving daily, and his leash manners are coming along, though he sometimes tries to lead the walk!

Ideal Home

Phillip enjoys the company of other dogs, big or small, and has charmed pups of various sizes. He’s good with men and women but is still learning that raised hands are for petting, not threats. We suspect he’s had difficult experiences, so a home that understands his need for gentle reassurance is ideal. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended. He has a moderate to high energy level, so he needs daily exercise and mental stimulation.

Phillip is a healthy boy with no current health concerns noted.

Training & Support

Phillip knows how to sit but can get overly enthusiastic when treats are involved; patience and consistent training are key. He is crate-trained and does not dig. However, he has a strong affinity for his chew toys, so supervised play is a must.
