Arby

Meet Arby! This sweet 6-month-old, 40-pound pup, affectionately known as "Arby-Rhubarby," is a brindle bundle of happiness. He spent two months at the county shelter waiting for his second chance, but a heartwarming video led to his rescue. Arby likely has Heeler and Bully breed traits, with hints of Lab, but his most defining characteristic is his incredibly friendly and easygoing nature. He truly loves everyone he meets – humans and dogs alike – and quickly bonded with his foster family and their canine companions. Arby is a joy-filled dog who loves toys, splashing in the doggie pool, and making the most of every day. He's a slow grower and is expected to reach around 50 pounds when fully grown.

Ideal Home

We recommend a home without cats, as Arby tends to bark at them, although he shows no aggressive intent.

Arby is fully vetted and in great health.

Training & Support

Arby is crate trained and house trained. He is wonderfully submissive and has a gentle nature. Like many Heelers, he enjoys herding his canine friends and may occasionally nip at their heels during play. He is eager to learn appropriate boundaries and responds well to corrections from other dogs.

Transporation

Arby is located in Texas and can be transported to approved adopters through our trusted partners, Freedom Run Express or Tigger's Texas Transport. We adopt to multiple states to help each dog find their perfect forever home.
