Meet Sven, a playful 1-year-old, 37lb hound mix who's ready to bring endless joy to his forever home! Sven is the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side, whether that's playing, cuddling, or just hanging out. He's a social guy who does great with other dogs and is even cat-friendly! Sven has lived with a cat and does well, though he can be a little cautious at first. Around the house, Sven is an easy companion. He's fully house-trained and has done well both in a crate and when left out for short periods. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys his daily exercise, and settles down well after he's had time to burn off some energy. Sven's favorite things include toys, belly rubs, and being close to his people. He's incredibly affectionate and a smart boy who reads people and other animals well, though he'll benefit from continued work on basic commands.

Transporation
Sven is currently located with his foster family. Transports run every few weeks, and we will have Sven on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
