Nala Mae

Nala Mae is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She's a true gem, embodying the sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion everyone hopes for. Nala settles into family life with ease, bringing an abundance of love and an easygoing personality to her home. She enjoys playful moments with other dogs and is just as content to relax once playtime is over. Nala is exceptionally gentle and respectful with dogs of all sizes, quickly understanding social cues and knowing when to wind down. Her walks are a dream, as she's completely non-reactive and exhibits excellent leash manners.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level, where she can enjoy daily walks and plenty of quality time with her people. While she'd likely enjoy having another friendly dog around, it's not a requirement for her.

Ongoing Health

Nala is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Nala is fully house-trained and does well in her crate. She may experience mild separation anxiety, barking or crying for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, but she settles quickly. This is expected to improve with a consistent routine. She's incredibly smart, knows several commands, and is eager to please.

Transportation

Nala is currently located in Houston, Texas. Once an adopter is approved, she can be transported to you. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
