END OF SUMMER CAVALIERS

Meet LA BASTIDE CAVALIERS. My name is Diane, and I live in Big Bear located in Southern California. I grew up in France surrounded by Cavaliers. At the age of 10 years old, I delivered my first litter, a night my parents had gone out. After that day, I was hooked and Cavaliers became my companions for life. Until 9 years ago, I led a busy life in Los Angeles and could only have one or two cavaliers at a time, but then, I moved to the beautiful mountains of Big Bear and, decided to finally give in to my passion as being retired I now had the time to finally have occasionally Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies, train them, teach dog nutrition, good healthcare, and most importantly, enjoy being surrounded by these amazing dogs who now rule over our mountain home... a long-held dream of mine! Because they are royalties, we treat them like kings and queens. But truly, our dogs are simply family: they are spoiled rotten, they sleep on our beds, they have the run of our home, they probably eat better food than we do, they go hiking with us, get lots of exercises, they are bilingual like us and, they are no doubt our pride and joy! The hardest thing is letting go of your babies... When we do, we make sure that they go to the right home, and we spend a lot of time making sure the transition is smooth for puppies and future parents; we make ourselves available to any questions or problems that might arise and, we health guarantee our puppies for one year. Also, it is extremely important for us that if a new family decided that they could no longer take care of their dog, that they would return their dog to us. FOR US, IT IS A LABOR OF LOVE.
