Estimated to be around 1.5 years old and weighing about 69 pounds, Harlen is likely a pittie mix with a heart full of love to give. Ideal Home

Harlen would be happy in a house with a yard or an apartment, as long as she gets enough exercise. A family that enjoys playtime, walks, and laughing at her goofy antics will be a perfect match.

Harlen is a young dog, so ongoing training and practice of her skills are to be expected.

Training & Support

Harlen has great basic leash skills and walks well, though she may need a little polishing. She's eager, responsive, and loves checking in with her people. While she has no resource guarding concerns with dogs or humans, she is known to steal unattended snacks. A little guidance and remembering not to leave tempting treats lying around will help with this. Harlen is also cat tolerant, showing great emotional control during an introduction with a resident cat. A slow introduction at home is still recommended.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
