She found herself in a tough situation at a high-kill shelter in Houston, but thankfully, she was rescued with just minutes to spare and is now living her best life in a foster home, ready to find her forever family. Oreo is a true gem – she's potty-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has mastered the art of balancing playful energy with calm companionship. She loves car rides and is happy to be your co-pilot on any adventure. When she's not zooming around the yard, she's content to lounge by your side, soaking up your attention and always ready for belly rubs.

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a variety of homes and is looking for a family who will cherish her. She gets along well with dogs and cats but prefers calm companions and isn't a fan of overly energetic dogs in her space. Her ideal evening involves a relaxed walk followed by cozy downtime on the couch with her person.

Oreo is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, on prevention, and heartworm negative. She is a healthy middle-aged dog.
