Meet Charlie — a handsome pittie with brains, manners, and just the right amount of bounce. Charlie already knows sit and shake, and he takes treats gently and politely, like the good boy he is. Despite his solid, sturdy build, he walks surprisingly well on leash and enjoys getting out and about without turning every walk into a workout.

In playgroups, Charlie shines with well-matched canine friends. He loves to play and engage, but he’s not over-the-top or chaotic—just a fun, social guy who knows how to keep things balanced. His energy is playful but manageable, making him a great fit for someone who wants an active companion without nonstop zoomies.

Charlie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's a helper dog in playgroups, which means he makes new or shy dogs feel welcome and safe. To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
