Meet Moose, a magnificent one-year-old Doberman and Pittie mix who weighs in at over 85 pounds of pure, gentle sweetness. He was a miracle rescue, pulled from a high-kill shelter in LA just in the nick of time. Moose is a sensitive soul who can be a bit nervous around new people, especially men, but with patience and understanding, he blossoms into an incredibly loving and devoted companion. Once he trusts you, he's all yours, showering you with affection and attempting to be the biggest lap dog you've ever known! He's already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and has a zest for life and a desire to explore the world with his forever family.
Ideal Home
Moose would thrive in a home with patient humans who understand that building trust takes time. A dog sibling would be wonderful for him, and he would benefit from more exposure to various environments to build his confidence. While he is good with humans, children above 8 years old are recommended due to his size.
Ongoing Health
Moose is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Moose is a good boy on walks, walking politely and listening well. He's learning to manage distractions, and while squirrels and lizards catch his eye, he's a work in progress and a good student. He's crate trained and generally well-behaved when left alone, though he absolutely lives for his people's return! He needs continued socialization to build his confidence in new situations.
