Moose

Moose is a charming 5-year-old Dachshund with a heart full of love and a nose that never stops exploring! This sweet boy is playful, snuggly, and always ready to curl up in your lap after a game of fetch. Moose's favorite things include burrowing under blankets, tug-of-war, sniffing absolutely everything, chasing toys, and soaking up all the cuddles he can get. He is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, making him an easy companion to have around.

Ideal Home

Moose is looking for a child-free home where he can be the center of attention. While he may do okay with an exceptionally calm dog, he has always been a solo pup and would prefer a home all to himself.

Ongoing Health

Earlier this year, Moose was diagnosed with IVDD and successfully underwent surgery. He has made a wonderful recovery and will need a family committed to following his long-term care guidelines, including limiting stairs, avoiding furniture, and preventing rough play. The good news? His pet insurance coverage will transfer to his new family with no gaps in coverage.

Training & Support

Moose is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. If you have Dachshund or IVDD experience, you'll be well-equipped to give Moose the safe, loving forever home he deserves.
