Beso is a sweet girl who becomes your best friend once she feels comfortable. She's not the dog to jump into every stranger's lap, but she's friendly and accepting, and settles in beautifully. She forms deep bonds with her people and loves being included in everyday life. Once she knows you're hers, Beso is incredibly affectionate. She sleeps in bed with her foster family, happily soaks up cuddles, and is content to spend an evening curled up beside you on the couch. Her name means "kiss" in Spanish, and it couldn't suit her better!
Beso currently lives in a foster home with numerous other dogs and has done exceptionally well. She thrives in a busy, social environment and especially loves playing with puppies, engaging in games of tag and keep away. She gets along well with most dogs, though she might not be the best match for a very dominant female dog. She's also cat tolerant and was curious but respectful of the resident cat. Beso loves carrying stuffed animals around the yard, particularly those that match her coloring. She enjoys splashing in a baby pool, playing with dog friends, riding in the car, and exploring new places. Her zoomies are hilariously unique, with her back legs tucked so far underneath her it almost looks like she's running on her front paws alone. Beso is a good car rider, highly food motivated, and eager to be with her people. She walks reasonably well on leash and responds nicely to gentle guidance. Because she loves treats, continued training should be both enjoyable and rewarding. She would love a home where she can be included in daily life, whether that's joining you on outings, tagging along for car rides, playing with canine friends, or snuggling up at the end of the day.
