Indy

Indy is a 3-year-old, 70 lb sweetheart who was rescued by Good Samaritans after being abandoned. He’s currently in a foster home, but the busy household isn’t the right fit for him—he’s a little too interested in the resident kittens, so he’s looking for a home of his own. He’s friendly, playful, energetic, and very people-oriented. Indy loves being active, going for walks, playing fetch (though he may get a little distracted mid-game), and just being near his humans. He’s also a great car rider and easy to bathe. Indy is highly food-motivated, which makes training a great opportunity for him. His fosters are currently working on leash skills and basic manners—he’s eager to learn and responds well. Indy has a big heart and is ready to share it with a forever family.

Ideal Home

Indy would do best with an active adopter or family who can give him structure and affection. He has done well with older children.

Ongoing Health

Indy is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and his heartworm treatment is paid for and in process. He is currently a little underweight but is working on gaining some pounds.

Training & Support

Indy is housetrained and crate-trained. His fosters are currently working on basic manners and leash skills, and he is eager to learn and responds well. He is highly food-motivated, which makes training a great opportunity.
