Dot Dot

Dot is an adorable 8-year-old girl who's ready for a new adventure! We believe she's a delightful mix of Shih Tzu and terrier, weighing in at about 17 pounds and standing 13 inches tall at the shoulder. Dot came to us from a situation where she was a devoted mom, but now it's her turn to be cherished. Don't let her size fool you; she's not a lap dog but a spirited explorer who loves to hike and discover new trails!

Ideal Home

Dot would thrive in a home that can keep up with her energetic spirit. She's looking for an adult-only household, as she can become frightened and defensive around small or active children. She also needs a home without cats, as her inner terrier gets a little too excited by them. She does get along well with other mellow dogs, so a canine companion could be a great fit!

Ongoing Health

Dot is spayed and vaccinated, and she is house and dog door trained.

Training & Support

Dot is working on her leash-walking skills and would benefit from some additional practice and guidance. She's friendly with people she knows but can be a bit shy with strangers, so a patient approach will help her feel comfortable.
