Bella

Bella is a happy girl seeking adventure and a forever home! She's a 3-year-old female, approximately 51 lbs, with a mix of Lab and hound. Bella's previous owners had to move, and she ended up in a shelter through no fault of her own. She's now looking forward to her new chapter, filled with sniffy walks, park romps, and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Bella promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship in return for a loving home.

Ideal Home

Bella would love a home where she can have adventures. She gets along well with other dogs, and while we haven't seen her with cats or kids, we can discuss integration techniques.

Ongoing Health

Bella tested positive for heartworms, but is receiving treatment. Heartworm is not contagious and, after treatment, dogs can lead full, active lives with no significant long-term effects, as long as they are kept on monthly preventative medication. She will need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. We are happy to discuss her treatment status.

Training & Support

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee if a dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.

Bella is currently in a DC area foster home and can be transported to you.
