Benito

Sweet Benito is a cuddly boy with a medium-energy personality – the perfect mix of couch potato and adventure buddy! He has moments where he's full of playful energy and other times he just wants to lay around and snore. He absolutely loves children and will follow them everywhere, though he sometimes forgets his size and strength and may try to jump up. He's very sweet and consistently just wants to be cuddled. Benito does very well around women and children, showing a submissive and affectionate nature. He's also been okay around men, happily waiting for pets when meeting them. With other dogs, Benito has become close to a female mini dachshund. He can take some time to adjust to big dogs, initially growling and attempting to assert dominance, but with redirection and patience, he does well and gets along with them.

Ideal Home

Benito would do very well in a home with children and small dogs where he can soak up all the love and cuddles he craves! He does not do well in a kennel and will do best in a home that can give him patience and understanding.

Training & Support

Benito is sometimes potty-trained and is currently learning "sit." He's been doing well on the leash and does not pull. He does have some anxiety and does not do well in a kennel.
