Pierogi

Pierogi and his siblings were found in a hole in an alley in San Bernardino, along with their father. They were covered in fleas and ticks and very anemic. We rescued them, got them cleaned up and healthy, and now they are ready for adoption!

Pierogi is a sweet, shy boy who needs a home with another dog to help him feel comfortable. He is a gentle soul who loves being held and petted, and enjoys lounging in his bed with his toys. He's curious and observant, and happy to hang out on your lap. His favorite pastime is shredding newspapers – it's very cute!

Pierogi is a quiet dog who took time to adjust to the kennel environment. Now, he barks when he wants to play, which is a wonderful sign of his growing confidence. When he has a canine friend, Pierogi is playful, loves to wrestle, and enjoys a game of fetch. This is when his true personality shines, and it's why he absolutely must have another dog in his new home. He also prefers going on walks with a dog buddy, as he's too scared to walk alone. He needs another dog to show him that everything is okay.

Pierogi is 6 months old and weighs about 9 lbs.

Ideal Home

A home with at least one other confident, playful dog is a must for Pierogi. He needs a canine role model to help him feel secure and come out of his shell.

Ongoing Health

Pierogi has received treatment for fleas, ticks, and anemia.

Training & Support

Pierogi needs help building his confidence. He thrives and becomes more playful and outgoing when he has another dog to interact with.
