Mellow

Meet Mellow! He's a 5 year and 9 month old male Labrador Retriever / Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing about 68 lbs, with a heart full of love and loyalty. True to his name, Mellow has a very sweet and affectionate side and forms strong bonds with his person. He absolutely loves to cuddle and wants to be close to his human, whether that's on the couch, in bed, or wherever you are. He'll gently ask for kisses, grin at you when he's happy, and let you know what he needs with a clear bark, especially when it's time to go outside.

Mellow is an active dog who enjoys long walks, playing fetch, and tug-of-war. He knows basic commands, is very people-oriented, and is fully vaccinated and up to date on care. He is food-motivated.

Ideal Home

Mellow would thrive with an adult who enjoys staying active and can give him both physical exercise and emotional connection. He is best suited for an adult-only home and a single-pet household (no other dogs or cats). He needs someone patient, confident, and willing to respect his boundaries.

Mellow is fully vaccinated and up to date on care.

Training & Support

Mellow can be protective of his resources, so he'll do best with someone who understands dog behavior and is comfortable using positive reinforcement (treats work great!) to guide him.
