Tom is a charming 5-year-old with a handsome salt-and-pepper face and incredibly soft fur. He's reached the perfect age, old enough to know the rules and young enough to still be playful and full of love. Tom is a certified cuddle bug who loves leaning into his people, carrying his favorite toys, and keeping the couch company. He deeply loves his people and will be your constant shadow. Tom recently had a wonderful day out, showing off his amazing personality. He was introduced to a 5-year-old boy and a 5-year-old autistic girl and handled it beautifully, riding calmly in the car. While he might need a little help getting into vehicles, his affectionate nature more than makes up for any lack of athleticism. Tom is a hit with new people, melting into their arms and asking for belly rubs. He was also a perfect gentleman at the vet, greeting the staff with affection and remaining calm and polite. He was enthusiastic with the 5-year-old, matching her energy, and gentle and mindful with a 3-year-old. Tom even had a funny encounter with his reflection, briefly mistaking it for a new friend. He had a fantastic time at doggy daycare, described by the staff as the most loving, happy boy! Tom is a respectful and thoughtful dog with his canine friends, preferring calm or medium-energy buddies and taking his time to get to know them. He enjoys playful moments and can be happy as the sole prince of a household. However, cats are a definite no for Tom.
