Jolene is a Retriever/Shepherd mix puppy who’s as beautiful as she is brave. Found with her mom and siblings on a Houston bayou, this little explorer is ready to find her forever home where she can play, cuddle, and grow up loved. Jolene is full of life! She’s playful, curious, and loves to wrestle, chase, and tug-of-war with her dog friends. She thrives with a canine companion and feels most secure when she has another pup by her side. With other dogs, she’s balanced and respectful — never pushy, but confident enough to hold her own. She even lives peacefully with a cat, proving just how adaptable she is. While she may be cautious in new situations, Jolene adjusts quickly and is very eager to please. She’s easy to train, responds beautifully to gentle redirection, and listens well. She’s mostly potty trained, crate trained (though she may whine a little at first), and is comfortable being handled.
Ideal Home
Jolene would do well in just about any home, but she’d be happiest with another pup to grow and play with. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.

Jolene is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week.
