Zac

Zac is a handsome 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing around 60 pounds. He's a loyal companion with a perfect blend of playful energy and cuddle-bug sweetness. Zac was rescued from a local shelter and underwent FHO surgery to address a previous leg injury, from which he has fully recovered and requires no ongoing medical care. He's a conversationalist, especially when dinner is late, and we suspect he has some Husky in him!

Ideal Home

Zac thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods. He enjoys having other dogs around or people nearby to share his life with. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he would do well with a family willing to continue teaching him not to jump up when excited.

Ongoing Health

Zac has fully recovered from FHO surgery and requires no further medical intervention or medication.

Training & Support

Zac is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks calmly on leash and shows no reactivity to other dogs. His foster believes he would benefit from continued training to discourage jumping when excited.

Transporation

Zac is currently in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas. He can be transported once an adopter is approved. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
