Meet Sid Smitty, a guaranteed smile-inducer! This energetic Husky mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing 59 lbs, is the dog version of a human exclamation point. Sid's contagious, feel-good energy makes him a joy to be around. He thrives when included in family activities, whether it's hanging out with people, playing with dog friends, or receiving affection. Sid is incredibly sweet and has a wonderful way of melting into your side for cuddles. He perfectly balances his playful, goofy Husky side with a contented, affectionate demeanor. Sid has also shown to be great with kids. He's a big dog with lots of legs, height, and fluff, and he even has a cute little black spot on his tail that adds to his unique charm!
Ideal Home
Sid would do best in a home that can match his playful energy and provide him with plenty of opportunities to socialize. He would likely enjoy the company of a fun, happy, and confident female dog who enjoys rowdy play but also appreciates calmer moments. Sid could also be a happy and adored center of attention in a home without other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Sid is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He has tested negative for heartworms.
Training & Support
Sid has good house manners and understands that playtime is an outdoor activity. He may occasionally try to sneak a snack from tables, so keeping food put away will be beneficial. He enjoys playing with rope toys and tug toys and loves to engage in play with his people.

Transporation
Sid is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport is available for an additional $87 surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
