KING

King is a wonderful 6-8 year old Lab mix with a fluffy tail that makes him truly stand out! He's a solid "10" on a scale of 1-10 for energy, always ready for adventure and loving to run. Despite his zest for activity, King is also incredibly sweet, quiet, and gentle. He's a well-rounded and self-sufficient companion who doesn't require high maintenance. King is smart with good common sense, responding well to directions for crating and quieting down. He's not a big barker, but will alert you to anything unusual. While he enjoys his meals and treats, he doesn't have a high food or prey drive. When King leans in for a face rub, your heart is sure to melt.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in an active home with people, kids, and other dogs. He hasn't been exposed to cats. A yard would be ideal for him to enjoy his energetic nature.

Ongoing Health

King was found hit by a car and has some physical scars, but these do not impact his ability to live a full and happy life. He is fully functioning and nothing holds him back.

Training & Support

King is crate and house-trained and will signal when he needs to go outside. He shows no signs of storm or separation anxiety. While he doesn't have significant behavioral issues, he once chewed up a plastic water bowl, so metal bowls are recommended.
