TEX (Loyal, Loving, Active--Fostering in Wayne, NJ)

Hi there! My name is Tex, and I'm a 2-year-old, 35-pound bundle of energy and cuddles. I might be a mix of Cattle Dog and Corgi, judging by my adorable short legs and big personality! I was found abandoned in a rural area, but I'm not letting that get me down. I'm all about moving forward and finding my forever family. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my shots.

Ideal Home

I would love a home with a farm, acreage, or plenty of trails for exploring! Due to my herding breed background, I'd do best in an all-adult household or with high school-aged children. I'm also looking for a home without cats, as I find them a bit too tempting to chase.

Training & Support

I'm house and crate trained, and I know how to walk nicely on a leash. I'm a very smart and athletic guy who loves adventures but also enjoys snuggling up afterwards. I'm a classic "Velcro dog" and am happiest when I'm close to my people. I'm also a champ when it comes to bath time – I sit perfectly still! I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly.
