Leela Lou Lovey the Social Butterfly

Leela Lou Lovey is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, and to top it all off, she is absolutely adorable! Her most charming features are her confidence in meeting new people, her perpetually happy demeanor, and her wonderfully expressive, satellite-dish ears! She'll steal your heart in an instant and fill your life with endless joy and laughter. Leela is believed to be a pit bull/lab mix, approximately 3 years old, and weighs 55 lbs.

Ideal Home

Leela absolutely loves people and would thrive in a home that enjoys hosting and entertaining. She'd be happiest as the only furry child, soaking up all the love and companionship. A backyard for zoomies and playtime would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Leela is a rescue dog, and while her age and breed mix are best guesses, she is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Leela is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands like "sit." She's eager to please and highly motivated by treats, making future training enjoyable. She walks well on a leash, with any pulling stemming from excitement to greet people.

Transportation

Leela is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
