Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl! Her perky ears are like little bat wings and she absolutely loves a good scratch. She has a lot of energy but is happy to nap most of the day during work hours. Grace gave birth to 10 puppies when she first arrived in rescue and was an excellent mom. Now, it's her turn to find her forever home! She already knows how to sit and lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. She loves her kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily, as it makes her feel safe. She happily sleeps there every night.

Ideal Home

Grace is looking for a home where she can receive all of your attention, especially during walks, as she is very strong. She has lived with her foster parents without other children, adults, or pets. She is sensitive to changes in her environment and notices when her people are away. Grace has some signs of trauma from her past and can have a difficult time initially meeting men, but with a proper introduction, she can get past this. The perfect family for her will be one that can see her worth and understands her needs.

Ongoing Health

Grace is a healthy 3-year-old who recently gave birth to 10 puppies.

Training & Support

Grace is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. Due to her strength, she will require all of your attention on walks, so no AirPods for the first few walks. She has shown signs of trauma and is working through this with her fosters and Save-A-Bull.
