Missy is a sweet Plott Hound mix who is ready to find her forever home! She's had a bit of a journey, arriving at HSVC from another shelter where she became a mama and raised her puppy. Now that her maternal duties are complete, it's her turn to be cared for. Missy can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly with the help of tasty treats. Once she's comfortable, her sweet and loving side really shines through. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and feels more confident with a canine friend nearby. Missy is still learning that the world is a kind and safe place, and with patience, kindness, and treats, she's sure to blossom into a loyal companion. She's hoping for a quiet home, a caring person, and a soft place to land.
