Nala

Nala is a sweet, 8-year-old, spayed female Shepherd/Retriever mix who weighs 52 pounds. She was found abandoned and is now in a foster home in Houston, Texas, with a tail that never stops wagging! Nala has a peaceful presence and a wonderful balance of relaxed and fun, enjoying playful moments while generally maintaining a calm demeanor.

Ideal Home

Nala would do best in a home that appreciates her calm, loving nature. She'd be a wonderful companion for a family with children of various ages, a home with another friendly dog (especially larger breeds), or even a quieter household where she can soak up all the love as a solo dog.

Ongoing Health

Nala has no known health conditions at this time.

Training & Support

Nala is fully house-trained and crate-trained and rests comfortably in her crate for several hours. She walks nicely on leash, though she may occasionally need a little encouragement to keep moving. While she has good manners, she may prefer some space while eating, especially around unfamiliar dogs.
