Meet Axle, a 5-year-old dog with a big personality who knows what he likes! Axle is confident and a little particular, making life with him always interesting. He enjoys affection and being close to his people, but always on his own terms. One moment he might be requesting early morning cuddles, and the next he's off doing his own thing. He's very expressive and communicative, never shy about letting you know his preferences.

Axle has some funny quirks, like asking to go outside only to change his mind, or carefully inspecting a treat before deciding if it meets his high standards. He loves cozy spots, like blankets and sunny windows, and any place where he can relax and observe the world. He can be a bit protective of his space and may give a low bark if he feels crowded, so he'll do best with someone who understands and respects his boundaries. Axle is a loyal and affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with his people.

Ideal Home

Axle would thrive in an adult-only home where he can settle in at his own pace. He does well with dogs and cats already in the home, but he does not do well with new animals entering his space.
