Meet Theodore!

Theodore is a handsome 6-year-old Dachshund mix, weighing around 26 lbs. He was part of a group we affectionately call the "Six-Pack," and his past wasn't ideal, as he didn't receive enough food or proper care. Now, he's hopeful for a brighter future in a loving home. Theodore can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, he blossoms into a super sweet companion who loves to be close to his people, offering kisses to show his gratitude. He's a low-key fellow who would thrive in a quieter environment where he can receive plenty of attention and affection. He gets along well with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Theodore would do best in a home with older, calmer children. A quieter environment where he can receive plenty of attention and affection would be ideal for him.

Ongoing Health

Theodore is up-to-date on all vet care, is heartworm-negative, has been (or will be) spayed or neutered, microchipped, and is current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

While Theodore is generally low-key, he may need some time to adjust and build confidence due to his past experiences. Providing him with a stable and loving environment will help him feel secure and happy.
