Meet Casey!

Casey is a sweet 8-month-old Pittie mix, weighing in at about 35-40lbs and estimated to be around 40-45lbs when fully grown. She was named after the Grateful Dead song "Casey Jones" and joined us with her littermates. When Casey first arrived, she was quite timid, but thanks to the love and patience of her foster family, she's blossomed into a confident and affectionate pup! She absolutely adores the other dogs in her foster home and has become a professional snuggler. It's hard to believe she was once shy about being touched! Casey has the cutest ears, is incredibly polite, and is ready to find her forever best friend. She's already leash and potty trained, and while she can still be a little shy with new people, she's learning to trust quickly.

Ideal Home

Casey would thrive in a home with other dogs who can show her the ropes and help her feel secure. A fenced-in backyard is a must for her to explore safely. She's great with cats and kids, too!

Ongoing Health

Casey is spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is up to date on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Casey is crate trained and already has a good handle on leash and potty manners. She's gaining confidence around new people but benefits from gentle introductions. Continued training and socialization are encouraged to help her continue to grow into a well-adjusted adult.

• We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives).
• A virtual home visit call is part of the process to discuss adoption and see your home.
